The Top 100 Magic: The Gathering Cards of All Time (#90-81)

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Magic, we brought together the hivemind of ChannelFireball Pros, content contributors, and more to create the ultimate list: The 100 greatest Magic cards of all time.
In this episode, Mashi is joined by guests Reid Duke, Ben Seck, and Brian Kibler in Las Vegas, NV to break down and debate the next 10 slots on the list.
Tune in next week for #80-71, with new guests!

hundredpercentjuice says:

Are these all prerecorded? Or can a groundswell of #firemashi impact change?

Maximilian_Blaubär says:

Dear Read: I thoughoutly agree on your stand on aether vial… with an important exception: Legacy Goblins. Vial is cool when it enables 1/1 Demonic Tutors and 2/2 haste Fact Or Fictions^^

Giovanni Rodriguez says:

I miss magic tv

K K says:

Some quality control issues here…could be fixed easily and re-uploaded.

trexpaddock says:

With no context, this list is meaningless.

Lemonducky says:

I was much happier with this episode compared to 100-91. Lots of good discussion and fun stories from some of the best players around. I also like the mix-up of guests to keep things fresh.
I look forward to seeing this series continue 🙂

rr ww says:

THE Ben Seck!!

Leo Seidman says:

I watch Brian’s hearthstone stream and I didn’t realize he played magic competitively

venture quest says:

Brian kibler plays magic?

brasswirebrush says:

If there’s anyway you could improve the sound on these that would be great. Can barely hear Mashi.

jacob blackman says:

This list is really bad. Like of course it’s 100% subjective and hard to please everybody but this list is so bad. Wrath does not belong

James Welckle says:

Wait Your Loam does what!? That’s a sexy misprint boys!

Devin Taugner says:

Why’s the hearthstone player in this?

Erchen Lu says:

Hey, love the content but, the audio quality is suck

Paul M says:

6:36 “Loam’s weird” – Yeah, especially when Oracle errata’s it to be an entirely different card 🙂

Dremin2009 says:

Aether Vial has to be one of the highest win % cards when you play it on turn 1, it just makes the decks that use it so much better. Reid is right it’s not great when you draw it later, but the power can’t be denied. I think it should be higher on the list personally, not top 50 but this seems too far back to me. Agree with Cryptic being overrated and probably should not be on the list. Loam is deceptively good, countering it is pointless and it will grind out a big advantage through a long game all on its own.

Uigig Vex says:

Life from the loam = cursed scroll?

Sam says:

Much better! More discussion makes it way more interesting! 😀

Exa roc says:

in the future, instead of revealing them all at once, could you do it in a countdown style, where they can comment on each card individually instead of the entire list? this is a more exciting approach to the video.

Attlanttizz says:

Who created this list? Was it created by polling several pros?

Floris says:

The new guests were great this episode. Duke is great as always. The guy on the left seems a bit nervous, but it’s fine.

argsgsgs gnngndg says:

take notes guys, if Reid says a card is bad, the card is bad period.

groovemedium says:

The volume levels are better this week. I deem this video watchable.

twitchster77 says:

I’m just a couple minutes in…and I’m SO over the wheel of fortune **it. >.<'

Ben Bailey says:

Im glad at least mashi scanlan wore some killer shoes, they stand out in a field of beat up sneakers. Shoes are important folks!
