Skyhawk360 says:

Having just started playing Arena (long time magic player though), I very much enjoyed this. Hope there is more to come

Jordan Hatten says:

Got really upset when I didn’t hear “hello there everyone, it’s Seth, proooooooooobabllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better as Saffron Olive”

Grady Winters says:

I give two thumbs up

Photo Hound says:

SO many punts…I find your careless playstyle a bit irritating. I think the monogreen deck selection is flawed. But I like the idea behind the series. I hope the level of care improves. I doubt it but will give the next episode a fair chance.

Tyler Worrell says:

Thank you for the video!

I’m running three accounts at once so I can do a bunch of drafts each week ; )
I saw you’re text guide first and now have a deck halfway in between your middle and finished product. Really loving it!
I can’t wait to see your next videos and guides! I’m already planning on trying all of your decks!

I know everyone can play any way they want, but I will mention I saw someone on YouTube talking about maximizing free to play rewards, and they said to save all gold until the 5000 mark, at which point you can enter drafts and then slowly convert the gold into both hand selected cards and gems. Then, use the gems at the 2000 mark to play regular drafts. Lather, rinse, and repeat until you have a good enough collection to play constructed and go infinite.

Good luck in games and in packs!

Tom Jackal says:

why whisper in outro

Rich Van Atta says:

It’s nice to see someone else have the same experience I have on arena… everyone always has a better deck.

Manuel Aguilar Tirado says:

Things I would like to see in this new section
1- I know is full f2p but recommend people to buy the starter bulndle would be nice, is great value you can get drafts or a sealed league of it
2- Try to test decks exclusively or mostly in constructed events, if people want to do their dailies better doing them there a decent run in dailies can give you your money back and reward you with cards, imo is the best use of your time.
3- I little bit more of insight on the decks you are playing and why is good choice for f2p players, I know you kinda did, but I felt you could have said more.
4- if this is weekly hopefully you make use of the dual color decks next week, they have a little bit more value plus more established strategies or just build your own out of that card pool
5- We should set a goal for the show in the short therm like getting a full deck or being able to get certain amount of gold or wild cards
6- Before yo go too invested in monogreen…DONT DO IT, mono green is in a really bad place metagame wise, is not as good as was expected to be, I did also started mono green and made a full list, with nullhides, vinemares, champions and pelt collectors and boy I regret it, tokens and golgari are way too god against the deck and since assasins trophy is not that great the small black splash is not really a profit. If we are choosing mono color decks i totally would suggest the mono blue deck using curious obsesion, it only needs 4 rares and is a top tier deck in real tournaments I dont liek that deck but in therms of investment is much better.
Thanks a lot for the content, Im sad that goldfish was pushed to make use of a f2p series to make use of arena, I think people was way to butthurt in the comments. Is fun to see a f2p run I wonder were we can get.

Awfully Fun MTG says:

Great start to the series! I’ve been working on a similar idea (and also applied to the posting :P) but you executed it way better than I would have for sure. I’m a new fan! 😀

Taylor Jones says:

I think a decent “pace” for this series would be “play till we get the 5 wins for the pack”. In between, we can have a breakdown about what we changed, what the “end of the day” deck looks like.

We can also have a “goal deck” to build towards.

Once we start earning the two-color decks, we can also focus on quests for the day.

Ross Thrasher says:

Reaper King is the scarecrow ‘lord’ doesn’t pump but uh

Lucius Bennet says:

Loving the idea of a building an account from the ground up. Definitely will follow through! 😀

sevenguy7777777 says:

Reaper king is a scarecrow lord and it’s actually really good it’s just that there are almost no playable scarecrows to go with him

Frozen Fizzy says:

My dude there is a scarecrow lord. Reaper King

Consciousness says:

Is the tattoo grinning demon? If so, I know because I started playing around the same time and I loved the set onslaught. Definitely could see myself with so many tattoos from that set the cards look so badass

Siez says:

U should try the Tactical Assault deck next

Ross Thrasher says:

Is your favorite card Grinning Demon? If so, that’s awesome, great pick!

Adam Filiatreault says:

This guy is great! I want to see more videos from him 🙂

StarkMaximum says:

“Wow I don’t know why we haven’t gotten like a SCARECROW LORD yet.”

Reaper King.

Jose Israel says:

can we change the name to “fish to play”?

MrInkdup says:

Great content! Refreshing

Ross Thrasher says:

Yo props for not snap-shame-scooping to the plummet misplay, I do it to even less impactful plays

Robert Richards says:

God, learn to use the auto tapper, it’s great.

GenShenAndCompany says:

This rocks and would love to see more content like this! Needs a better recording device though… And more Tomer, probably better known as… Tomer.

LimeShredder says:

Im really into the new voice/perspective/personality. Definitely want to see this guy some more

Christopher Willis says:

I like this guy, keep him around!

Elyeras says:

I actually really love this and it encouraged me to try out arena. Hope to see more of the series and more content from you specifically

Luliby says:

Oh no! Arena! Quickly, everyone complain!

Joking aside, nice new series. And I’m impressed with your ability to equip auras new guy. Would be nice if the audio was a little louder though. It was hard to hear during the intro and outro.

MexicanDre says:

Love it! Haven’t even seen the video but I saw two awesome giant green Dino’s and immediately had watch

EEERA says:

Large lapses of logic = long looming loneliness. Love lingering learning

Yakuza Ronin says:

This is great. Looking forward to many more videos!

MiquelGar says:

Nice idea and video, but the mic used could be better.

PhatStache says:

Also known as TheAsianAvenger, but what are you PROBABLY better know as?

Master Yi From Dota says:

Quick correction: you said in the intro that you get 1 pack per 5 wins, 3 packs a day. It’s actually 3 packs a week, not per day.

Merc says:

It’s not 3 packs a day it’s 3 packs a week

James Humphries says:

Good work on your first Goldfish video. You had some good tips for new players while still being entertaining. Can’t wait for next week!

TheBeatlesfan013 says:

Now THIS is some arena content I’m more than okay with!

Skronkful says:

@15:03 FYI there is a scarecrow lord: Reaper King from Shadowmoor.

Marc Klein says:

Entertaining and explanatory without a lot of boring dead air or hesitant discussion. Nicely done and worth a watch for anyone looking to learn. Some mistakes were made, but nothing unforgivable 🙂

Chase Brown says:

Loving this creator! Personality is everything I look for in fellow players. I fell in love when he started laughing at the second “Murder”
