Budget MTG Decks
All magic fun, all cards under a dollar
We here at Budget MTG Decks love playing constructed Magic: the Gathering! Whether it’s EDH / Commander, standard or modern, duel or multiplayer, we can’t get enough of it.
Our vision of MTG is a game which encourages strategic thinking, social interaction and above all…fun! To make this accessible to everyone we decided to lower the two largest barriers which people encounter with this game:
1: Cost of building a Magic deck.
2: Complexity of building a Magic deck.
Our mission at Budget MTG Decks is to provide full deck tech videos describing ready to play EDH / Commander and duel decks. With in depth commentary on each card and overall play style. To make sure the decks are truly budget we have limited the price of all our cards to under a dollar (with exception of the commanders). Now everyone can join the Magic: the Gathering fun!

can you play with a total of 50 cards between 2 people? I only have 50 cards.
HELP: Can anyone guide me please? I am NEW to MTG. i am looking for a mode which supports true multiplayer (not 2-headed giant or whatever that is called) for 3-4 players.
Key features:
1. multiplayer (3-4, maybe 5)
2. i only want to play CASUAL, with friends on our boardgaming nights, to have some FUN.
3. I DONT want to have to buy extra cards (i wouldnt know what to get!)
4. some decent REPLAYABILITY
5. preconstructed decks be relatively BALANCED.
(6. something that allowed a draft eg Winchester would be fun, as long as it is multiplayer
On paper, the new COMMANDER ANTHOLOGY box seems to fit.
Would u guys agree with that???
What about the PLANECHASERS ANTHOLOGY?
Any other ideas? 5 commander decks from the same year?
Thanks for your help 🙂 Sal
this is so much simpler than yughio
if you have two mana already on battlefield and a creature that you cast as well, on your next turn can you play another creature that cost two mana or does it have to have its own mana? can the cards share mana?

Nice video
Do you draw mana cards?
Super helpful explanation! Very pedagogically clear. Thanks!
This video was really helpful. Thanks so much!
how many cards should you have in the deck is there a limit
well so far it is easier than the Pokemon TCG
Short and sweet. You got a subscibe in my book.
I’m a veteran yugioh player and haven’t played any card game outside of yugioh “ever” but one day i stopped by my local comic book store to look through the daily comics that come out every first Wednesday of the month and noticed the owner and a couple of people playing MTG, so like any other person who’s curiosity peaks I went over to the table and asked “how do I play” and after a hour of learning and tutoring me they said if you wanna be a serious player go on YouTube and look for this channel. Well here I am Magic community, indulge me with your knowledge and show me the path of “the gathering”.
I’m a complete novice and these are the best tutorials I’ve watched on YouTube! I watched dozens of other videos but this series was the first that actually made sense and were simple to follow, thank you!
NICE
David,
Do you have any deck suggestions for beginning players? I am a competitive player and have played since Legends, but I have a tendency to overwhelm my wife when trying to teach her. She can fumble through a game, but I’m trying to bring her skill level up. How would you go about this process and do you have any suggestions?
P.S. I really appreciate the work and time you put into this channel. Some of the best content on YouTube hands down! I tell all my buddies to check it out and subscribe.
Thanks,
Jason
i built two 30 card decks (10x land, 10x creatures of various size, 10x other spells, all commons) to introduce the wife to the mechanisms of the game. She’ll watch this video then we get started.
