Budget MTG Decks
All magic fun, all cards under a dollar

We here at Budget MTG Decks love playing constructed Magic: the Gathering! Whether it’s EDH / Commander, standard or modern, duel or multiplayer, we can’t get enough of it.

Our vision of MTG is a game which encourages strategic thinking, social interaction and above all…fun! To make this accessible to everyone we decided to lower the two largest barriers which people encounter with this game:

1: Cost of building a Magic deck.
2: Complexity of building a Magic deck.

Our mission at Budget MTG Decks is to provide full deck tech videos describing ready to play EDH / Commander and duel decks. With in depth commentary on each card and overall play style. To make sure the decks are truly budget we have limited the price of all our cards to under a dollar (with exception of the commanders). Now everyone can join the Magic: the Gathering fun!

Thank for the awesome walk though I very new to the game, I’ve watched all and I understand it thanks again

Rabidchu says:

So a planeswalker is kind of like a player then. You can move creatures to block for them but you can’t redirect the damage to yourself for the planeswalker or vice versa, right?

Siona Lenne Kirisage says:

Thanks for the amazing vids!

question!

If a planeswalker has less loyalty points than needed for its ultimate (for ex: ajani has 4 loyalty and its ultimate is -8); how can i raise its loyalty then? With counters from other creatures maybe?

Thankius! :3

EddieTheLion says:

Dtrollmancan says:

If i a target a planeswalker and my card said “if SO AND SO deals combat to target player do SO AND SO after? does the ability activate???

Asking for friend 😛

Mike Kozlow says:

If i have any spell or quick spell, can i attack plansewalker by quick spell or spell?

MoustacheMage99 says:

Hi! Thanks so much for the tutorial! As someone who plays Pokémon and yugioh all the time, the rules seem quite similar, almost like a perfect blend between the two and I’ll hopefully buy a starter deck soon so I can play 🙂 Unfortunately I’m in the UK and I’m not sure where a good place to buy a starter deck would be, where would you recommend?

Daniel says:

Just a question: Am I allowed to have 2 planeswalkers of different types on the battlefield at the same time? (so for example 1 Ashiok and 1 Elspeth)
