Meh. No more TCGs ever. I’m not a millionaire.
“I don’t really follow TCGs that much” … Dice Masters Tom? 🙂
I’ve been playing the app a bit, and I really enjoy it. I think I might get into the physical game too, if my wife will give it a shot. I am not into TCGs at all, and not a big Warhammer fan, but this game just appeals to me for some reason.
“Trading Card Games is a genre that don’t last very long…” – said Magic: The Gathering from the past 25 years!!
I’m dumbfounded how Games Workshop could have come up with such a visually unappealing game.
One of the most strategic tcg/lcg games to come out in a while. Don’t let the tcg aspect turn you away this is a great one! The basic rules are simple but to get your deck working like a well oiled machine takes a lot of skill. Can’t say enough good things about this game. Give it a shot folks and you will like it!
The deckbuilding rules ARE in the rule leaflet that comes with the starter decks. They are under point 2.1 “Game components, Cards”.
4 Champions, maximum of 2 same one unless they are unique.
4 Blessings, no duplicates.
Total cost (the number in the green circle on the card) of your champions must be 20 or less
30 Action cards, no more than 3 of each. All cards must be the same faction or neutral.
That said, the rulebook could use some work. Information is scattered amongst the leaflet, the playmat and those keyword cards. Having it all in one place would be better.
Are you sure you want to show these cards in video? I’ve heard some got Lightseekers cards on the digital platform after they scanned them from a video and their real owners couldn’t use them on the digital game.
I also like this one more than Lightseekers, although the blessings cards don’t seem to be balanced. Some are soooooo much better than others. I guess it comes down to the card hunting that comes with all the TCGs, so this is probably another card game I will skip. I tried the digital version of Lightseekers and it is fun, but the booster pricing is insane. So greedy.
Back in 2004 I used to play Warhammer WarCry. I liked it a lot, but I can’t go back to this annoying TCG model.
Why not make it an LCG?… I can’t get into any CCGs anymore T_T … Well, hope people enjoy it… I am more of a WH40k fan anyway XD
Treasures?
I think I’ll just stick with my Warhammer Invasion card game.
First! 😀
Blessings* 😛
Ugh…lightseekers TCG?
